A Little Rabbit and Crocodiles
 A little rabbit wanted to find some food in a forest. But unfortunetely he found a big river so that he couldn't cross to another side. The rabbit looked around. He got surprised when he saw a huge crocodile floating on the river. The crocodile's eyes watched him out. "Aha!" the little rabbit smiled. He suddenly got an idea. "Hello, my lord crocodile! Would you please come here," he shouted. Hearing the rabbit called him, the crocodile swam closer. "Hmm, what's up?" "I know you're hungry. I'm bringing some food for you and all your friend. You know it's a big cow. I think it would make you so
satisfied," the rabbit said. "Really? Where is it?" the crocodile said. "It's in the back of that tree," the rabbit pointed out a tree behind him. "I'll give you, but I must know how many crocodiles are here. Could you call your friend to come?" The crocodile looked happy. Then he called his friends. After a while 20 crocodiles had come. "Ok. Now please stay in line. I'm going to count your number," said the rabbit. All crocodiles moved and made a row. A moment later the big river was covered by crocodiles waiting some food that rabbit promised. The rabbit jumped to the first crocodile's back. He began to count. "One, two, three,..." the rabbit counted by jumping up to crocodiles' back one by one. "nineteen, twenty," After stepping the last crocodile, the rabbit jumped into the river bank and ran into the forest. Then he laughed and shouted, "Stupid!"

Princess Mandalika

Once days when there was a king in Kingdom Tonjang Beru. The king has a daughter who is very beautiful, named Princess Mandalika. Her beauty is famous to various countries. So that one day there come seven princes to propose. King and the empress became confused how to solve this problem because rejecting the proposal would lead to civil war. Finally, the king handed over to her daughter’s decision to vote. On the appointed day of 20th day on the tenth month of sasak calender, The princess had chosen to announce the decision. On this day the people gathered along with the princess on the beach Seger. She announced her decision from the top of a hill. She decided not to choose any of the prince. “If you want to see me, come on every the tenth twenty of sasak calender” and the princess plunged himself into the sea. All those present tried to find her, but they found only a bunch of worms to be called “Nyale.”
Smart Monkey
One day there was a monkey. He wanted to cross a river. There he saw a crocodile so he asked the crocodile to take him across the other side of the river. The crocodile agree and told the monkey to jump on its back. Then the crocodile swam down the river with the monkey on his top.
Unluckily, the crocodile was very hungry, he stopped in the middle of the river and said to the monkey, “My father is very sick. He has to eat the heart of the monkey. So he will be healthy again.”
At the time, the monkey was in dangerous situation and he had to think hard. Then he had a good idea. He told the crocodile to swim back to the river bank. “What’s for?” asked the crocodile. “Because I don’t bring my heart,” said the monkey. “I left it under a tree, near some coconuts in the river bank.”
The crocodile agreed and turned around. He swam back to the bank of the river. As soon as they reached the river bank, the monkey jumped off the crocodile’s back. Then he climbed up to the top of a tree.
“Where is your heart?” asked the crocodile. “You are foolish,” said the monkey to the crocodile. “Now I am free and I have my heart.”
 
King of The Jungle
 One day a tiger saw a fox walking alone. Then, he intended to attack the fox. When Tiger jumped on Fox, Fox cried out, "How dare you attack the king of the jungle?" Tiger looked at him in amazement. "Nonsense! You are not King!" "Certainly I am," replied the Fox. "All the animals run from me in terror! If you want proof, come with me." Fox went into the forest with tiger in heels. When they came to a herd of deer, the deer saw Tiger behind the Fox and ran in all direction. They came to a group of monkey, the monkey saw the tiger behind fox and they fled. Fox looked to tiger and said, "Do you need more proof than that? See how the animals flee at the first sight of me?" "I am surprised, but I've seen it with my own eyes. Forgive me attacking you, Great King." Tiger bowed low with great ceremony, he let the fox go.
